We collected 311 pounds of food and one $25 check, at 9 pounds per dollar, for a grand total of

536 pounds of food!!!

Day 4

Day 4 was a particularly uneventful pickup day, but we did have several donations dropped off on the porch. Thank you to everyone who donated or supported in any way. The final numbers will be available shortly. Happy 4th of July!

Collection Day 2 & Day 3

We are smashing Day 2 & Day 3 into one post because there aren't any pictures or particularly interesting things to say about either day. Both days were a little slower than the first, but we still were able to find several donations, and even had one dropped off [at 950 Heather Glen Ct.]. The garage where we are storing everything is getting pretty full, which is exactly what we want. Keep it coming!!!

Collection Day 1

Day 1 was a success! Thanks to everyone who donated. We were pleasantly surprised by a larger turnout than we had anticipated, and the trunk of our official collection SUV was stuffed!

Food Drive!

Here's what you should know:

This is a food drive to benefit Open Arms Mission in Antioch, Illinois. We will be collecting items from homes in Woodland Ridge and Heron Harbor from June 28 through July 1. Please have your items out on your front porch by 8 a.m.

We are looking for canned fruit, canned vegetables, tuna, cereal, and toilet paper. Any amount of these items that you are able to donate would be greatly appreciated!
